I done did some writin’ about this here “controversy” for the Yahoo! front page earlier today.
I mean, what are these people angry about? She posed for the goddamn photo! There is no manipulation here that makes Sarah Palin look more like a WWE Diva than a fucking state governor… that’s all Sarah!
But hey, we know this game by now: SP knows she can get her way by inciting that 0.01% of the country who she has already manipulated into thinking she’s a patriotic hero. It has all these disruptive culture effects and it does nothing for good governance, but that wasn’t the point anyway. This is how you dominate the conversation. And it will keep happening until people stop letting that 0.01% take over conversations. Grow some balls, America!
The real story is that she is holding the new “Double Keypad Blackberry”. Who do you know at RIM, Palin??
